By Car

From the East:

Leave the M4 at Junction 29. Proceed along the A48(M) which becomes the A48. At the fourth exit, signposted for University Hospital, take the slip road and turn right at the traffic lights at the top. Proceed across the bridge and at the roundabout, take the second exit. The sign-posted entrance to the Cardiff Medicentre car park is the first turn on the right hand side.

From the West:

Leave the M4 at Junction 32. Take the fourth exit off the interchange signposted for Cardiff A470 and proceed along the dual carriage way. Approaching the sixth set of traffic lights, move into the left hand lane, marked A48, and proceed to the roundabout beneath the flyover. At the roundabout, take the first exit sign-posted M4(E), Newport and University Hospital. Keeping left, immediately take the slip road sign-posted for University Hospital. At the junction, turn right passing the A&E Department on the left hand side. Go straight ahead at the first roundabout. At the second roundabout, take the first exit. The sign-posted entrance to the Cardiff Medicentre car park is the first turn on the right hand side.

Entering the Cardiff Medicentre:

Approach the barrier and use the intercom to contact Reception for admission. The car park is private and has CCTV installed.

NOTE

The Cardiff Medicentre Reception is open between 08.30 and 17.00, Mondays to Fridays. Admission to the car park is not possible outside of these hours.

By Air

The nearest airport is Cardiff International Airport. A regular bus service runs from this airport into Cardiff city centre. Taxis are also available for direct transportation to the Cardiff Medicentre.

By Bus

Bus services between the city centre and the University Hospital of Wales site run every 10 minutes during peak periods. Services that stop near the Cardiff Medicentre include:

1, 2, 38, 39, 85, 101 and 102.

By Train

The nearest train station is Heath High Level. Trains heading for Bargoed stop here en route from Cardiff Central station. The University Hospital of Wales site and the Cardiff Medicentre is then approximately a 10 minutes walk.
